Earlier the European Commission demanded from all automakers since January 1, 2013 to pass to use of a coolant of HFO 1234yf (2,3,3,3-tetraftorpropen) which is less harmful to environment, than such widespread coolant, as R134а (1,1,1,2-tetraftoretan).

Conditioners in cars started to mount in the first half of the 1930th in the USA. Foreign firms were engaged in it, it was some kind of tuning. The first brand which has offered for the models the conditioner as an option, there was Packard. There was it at the end of 1939. Similar experiences were put by Cadillac firm in 1941. But distributions did not receive these early systems.
